General Hospital Spoilers: Brennan is alive – Brennan and Z faked Brennan’s death to deceive Ava and Drew!

General Hospital spoilers suggest Jack Brennan’s apparent death may not be the end of the story at all. In fact, one tantalizing possibility is beginning to look increasingly irresistible:

What if Brennan’s “murder” was never a murder? What if the WSB chief and a mysterious accomplice known only as “Z” orchestrated the entire nightmare to lure Ava Jerome and Drew Cain into a trap?

Port Charles currently has every reason to believe Jack Brennan is dead. Danny and Charlotte discovered what appeared to be his body floating in the Metro Court pool. Worse, Ava and Drew made the catastrophic decision to move the body, burying Brennan near the Quartermaine property rather than reporting what happened.

But this is General Hospital. And Brennan is no ordinary man.

Brennan’s “Death” May Have Been the Perfect WSB Trap

The first major clue comes directly from Carly.

As the investigation into Brennan’s disappearance intensifies, Carly openly wonders whether Jack might have “set this whole thing up.” Meanwhile, Josslyn has reported Brennan missing to the WSB, and Ava has made it crystal clear to Drew that she will not take the fall alone.

That creates an intriguing possibility.

Suppose Brennan realized Drew was coming after the evidence in his possession. Suppose he also anticipated Ava’s involvement. Instead of stopping them, Brennan may have decided to give his enemies exactly what they wanted: an opportunity to believe he was vulnerable.

Enter “Z.”

For now, Z’s participation should be treated as a spoiler theory rather than confirmed storyline fact. But if Z is secretly working with Brennan, the mysterious operative could have supplied the final piece necessary to stage a convincing death.

A drug could slow Brennan’s vital signs. Surveillance could be manipulated. A body could be substituted—or Brennan himself could have been extracted after Drew and Ava believed their horrifying work was finished.

And then Brennan simply waits.

Because Drew and Ava have already done more damage to themselves than Brennan ever could.

Ava and Drew Walked Straight Into the Trap

Think about their actions.

Instead of calling authorities, they transported Brennan’s supposed corpse and buried it. They then attempted to construct an alibi at the Metro Court.

If Brennan is alive, those decisions become devastating.

He wouldn’t need to prove they murdered him. He would merely need evidence showing what they believed they had done afterward.

A terrified Ava and increasingly ruthless Drew could essentially be manufacturing Brennan’s case for him.

That theory has gained even more fuel because General Hospital itself has now planted suspicion around Brennan’s disappearance. Carly questioning whether Brennan staged events is particularly notable because it gives the audience permission to question what appeared to be an unmistakable death.

Meanwhile, Brennan’s Black Box reportedly contains explosive information, including evidence connected to Drew’s campaign-finance misconduct. That gives Brennan a powerful motive to manipulate Drew into exposing himself.

But There’s One Huge Problem With This Theory

Outside the fictional world of Port Charles, the evidence points in another direction.

Chris McKenna has publicly discussed his departure from General Hospital. He revealed that he filmed his final episode months ago and described the way his run ended as “disappointing,” while still calling his 18 months on the soap a “gift.” PEOPLE also reported his exit as official.

That makes Brennan secretly surviving far from confirmed.

But soaps have built entire empires on two words: presumed dead.

And if GH wants one final Brennan bombshell, it practically writes itself.

Picture Ava and Drew finally believing they’ve escaped suspicion. Drew opens his door late one night.

Brennan is standing on the other side.

Alive.

Untouched.

And behind him stands Z.

“Did you really think the head of the WSB would be that easy to kill?”

Suddenly, Brennan’s death wouldn’t be his final defeat.
